The Boxford Historic Document Center collects photographs of people, houses, businesses, landscapes and events in the town of Boxford. Our photograph collection ranges from the early days of photography in the 1840s, up to the present day. View the links below for descriptions of our photograph collections.

Would you like to have your Boxford photographs preserved? We keep our collections stored in archival boxes in a climate-controlled environment. To donate photographs of Boxford and its residents, email us at boxforddocs@gmail.com, or stop in and visit us at 173A Washington Street. We are open on Wednesdays and the first two Saturdays of the month.

Boxford Photographer Collections

We have several larger collections of photographs by Boxford photographers, notably Arthur Wilmarth (c. 1880s-1920s) and Margaret "Peggy" Nelson (1970s-1990s).
